TERMS:
A purchase order and 50% deposit must accompany all orders. Orders without a deposit will not be put into production until funds are received. Balance is due upon completion and prior to shipping. We generate Order Confirmations for all orders which must be signed and returned to us. Credit card payments are subject to a 5% surcharge and can be used to pay for deposits only, not balances.
GENERAL ISSUES:
Any order with the application of C.O.M. (Customer’s Own Material) will not start production until the fabric is received. We reserve the right to modify items, details and/or sizes for quality standards or production feasibility. Prices and sizes are subject to change without notice. All sizes are approximate. Styles that are not listed on this price list are discontinued, and may be available on a custom-order basis for an additional charge. Please contact us for quotations and availability.
SHIPPING AND PACKING:
All prices are F.O.B. our factory warehouse. Blanket wrap shipping is our standard method of shipping. You are free to contract with freight carriers of your choice, however for blanket-wrap service we recommend American West Van Lines. Estimated freight is as follows: 18% of the invoiced amount with a minimum of $295, which is subject to fuel surcharges. An additional 5% of invoice will be added for boxing/packing if other than blanket wrap shipping is specified.
RETURNS and CARRIER-DAMAGE CLAIMS:
No merchandise will be accepted for return, exchange, credit or repair without a written return authorization from our factory. All claims for damages in transit must be handled between the customer and the carrier. However, we will offer reasonable assistance in settling claims. Please make comments of any damaged product on your Bill of Lading at the time of delivery and file the claim directly with the carrier. We are not accountable for freight damages discovered after the delivery has been made.
ORDER CANCELLATION:
Orders cancelled once production has begun are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
DELAYS:
All expressed and anticipated delivery dates are purely “good faith estimates” on our part and are subject to revision. We will not start production until both a deposit and C.O.M. fabric is received.
DISCLAIMER:
Please remember that each piece of furniture is finished by hand with artistically applied colorants and glazes on an individual basis. Wood is a natural material and as such, has variations in grain, color, tone, feel and weight. Therefore, natural variations in these characteristics are unavoidable and will add value to your purchase. Every attempt is made to match our standard finishes but slight variations will occur in grain, color, tone, feel, and distressing. We will not accept customers’ requests for refinishing an item without charge. If you are ordering items to be matched to a previous order, we suggest that you send us a piece of the existing furniture to match the finish. Custom finishes are available and will carry an additional charge that varies depending on the finish complexity and size of the item. Please submit a sample of your custom finish for a price quote. Typographical errors and misprints in our documents are likely to occur for which we are not responsible.
FABRICS and CUSTOMER’S OWN MATERIAL:
Yardage requirements are based on 54” wide plain goods. Additional yardage is required for pattern matching, plaids or stripes. Unless it is specified on your order as to the correct placement indicating centering, top, side or bottom of the fabric, we will, at our own discretion, make that determination and we will not be held responsible for errors or customer dissatisfaction. Italmond does not inspect C.O.M. for flaws prior to upholstery. Clients are completely responsible for inspecting flaws before it is shipped to us. All silk fabrics must have proper backing applied.

LEATHER, VINYL and C.O.L. (Customer’s Own Leather)
Italmond offers a selection of top grain leathers. Retail price is $295.00 per yard. C.O.L. orders will incur a 5% up charge on the invoice amount, and requires the customer send us 18 sq. ft. for every yard required. Customer’s pre-inspection of flaws before sending to us is strongly suggested. Leather is a natural material, and we will not be held responsible for natural characteristics such as marks, blemishes, variations, wrinkles and creases.
CONTRACT AND CUSTOM:
We take pride in our in-house and overseas production capabilities of a wide variety of manufacturing and customization options. You are invited to send us your drawings and requirements for an immediate quote. A majority of our line is available for contract use by adding brace and blocking or exposed stretchers where applicable. Please consult the factory.
ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY:
Italmond Furniture warrants to the original purchaser that this product is free from defects in its material and workmanship as described below. We do not guarantee our finishes to match exactly, nor is your unconditional satisfaction guaranteed. We will repair or replace and/or contract with a third party to service, at our option, without any additional charge to the original purchaser (including shipping if applicable) of any defective product(s) and/or part(s) for 1 (one) full year from the date of shipment while owned by the original purchaser. This warranty is your sole remedy for product defects and excludes defects due to or arising in connection with product misuse or abuse, modifications, and products and parts not used or installed in accordance with installation guidelines. Our furniture is intended for residential use only. If the product is to be used in a non-residential or contract setting, your order must so state for this warranty to be valid. There are no other warranties, express or implied other than those specifically described, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We will not be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.
